Rob,..you are not the minority.....that`s why I have chosen this show....
...the venue and the date fit perfect...Elvis is just happy.

excellent observation! sounds weird but summer of 75 is the last time Elvis seems like Elvis to me.

It was not easy to get photos from the actual show but Ernst did his very best..
So booklet features shots from Shreveport and some other shows from this time.
We have a detailed track listing and recording information on page 2.
The show itself is okay with typical song line-up from these days. Elvis is in a good
and joking mood..he really enjoys being back in Shreveport.
He doesn`t take Why Me Lord too serious but How Great Thou Art gets a great reprise.
A fantastic rendition of this song...wow ! i also think the more the shows continues the better
our man becomes...he really enjoyed the time on stage....Trilogy must have been the highlight of
the show..."we got people hanging from the rafters JD, see it"..? While Funny How Time..he takes a little rest..Trilogy surely was very stressful....Little Darlin is just fun....a strong medley of Mystery Train / Tiger Man leads to the end of the show and Can`t Help falling In Love..
The bonus songs are nice additions and belong to the most interesting songs of this tour.
Therefore they are included. I do hope you like this first work between FTD and the fanbase.
I am already looking forward to our next project. Stay tuned.

Does this mean there are several tours/engagements, even from post-1973 of which Ernst and Roger have no single soundboard available ?

When I had to make a decision...the "Fashion For A King" Book had just been released
a few weeks before....this meant that no 1974 and no Las Vegas show would fit for release
at this time. also I didn`t want to strain the nerves of the fans with another 1976 or 1977 concert
at this stage..although we still have some interesting shows from this period in the can.
I also took a 1973 Tahoe show into account but in the end a 1975 tour show seemed perfect for me.
I first wanted to do something from April 1975 but this would have meant overlapping with already released material....so Shreveport 1975 ES seemed perfect. ..good venue and only a bad sounding incomplete AR available on cdr......also please understand..when you have a first look at all these shows..on the list..and you have to decide..it`s NOT easy..believe me..you cannot please everyone..but it`s the first one and I think in the end..it was a good choice..we will cover more tours also..but we have to vary the releases a bit..

Seeing as it is very similar then, perhaps a Tahoe double would be the way forward - Disc 1 1973, Disc 2 1974.
I'm pretty sure FTD have a few Tahoe 1974 soundboards in the vaults, don't they?
