You know..I was gonna stay out this...but in all honestly. I remember reading Elvis hated "laying out in the sun", where did that tan come from?

He didn't always have to lay out for that tan. Even in the '70's there were products that artificially created darker skin.

Elvis did lay in the sun. We know this from photographs and film footage. However, let's get to the main issue here.

Did he use Coppertone?

I came across this picture yesterday, and could not believe how brown E looked!! Don't know about fake tanning lotion, looks like he got a tin of brown boot polish out before this show

BTW Scott just ignore your knockers, they are harmless really (for the most part!!).

Loved "The Tan & His Music" quip though, very good

what ever he took, it made him look damn good. even i, as a guy, would love a tan like that, i'm trying to get a bit of one at the moment, though not as dark as Elvis. Elvis looked good with or without a tan, he was just blessed!

Is this where I find the missing "Elvis CoStar Bares All?" thread.

I'm lost.

Oh, and while I'm at it, which Elvis Tribute Artist has the best tan? I'm thinking Alan, circa 1979, as seen at the Scranton Pennsylvania Legion.

I'd love to have his tan from "Love Me Tender".

..and before I get any snide remarks, I grew up watching The Incredible Hulk on a Black & White TV, and I could tell the guy was green.

That single photo is better that all the photos on that Azlee (or whatever her name is) thread put together.
