New (?) photo from Cincinnati -- June 1977

Just noticed on eBay a nice photo from the penultimate show in Cincinnati -- Saturday, June 25, 1977.

Marked on the back as taken by Michael R. Wathen of Evansville, Indiana. Only a three and a half- hour drive to the show! If Michael is still with us in 2024, he appears to be 81 years old.

What about the shot? We see Elvis at the piano, about to do "Unchained Melody." He's holding up a guitar pick as he speaks to the crowd, assistant Charlie Hodge dutifully standing by, ready to hold a vocal mic for the star. It's a flattering angle all around, which is nice.

The photo is new to my eyes, hope it's new for you as well.
