Keith Alverson on taking this photo - "I remember an unexpected event in Montgomery. Elvis arrived at the hotel garage, he had just finished a concert in Orlando. The car door opened, and Elvis walked straight towards me, heading for the elevator. "I say..Welcome to Montgomery Elvis" he says back to me "Thank you sir, glad to be here". The elevator door hadn't opened yet and a crowd began to gather, while Elvis and his guys had to wait and face a dozen of us fans. Elvis spoke and seemed very comfortable in that situation, while the security guys looked uncomfortable! I then took my favorite "candid" photo."
