The photo dates to a Hank Snow tour booked from February 14-18, 1955, mostly covering Texas and Louisiana.
This was the tour where he first heard Hank's son, Jimmie Rodgers Snow, perform some current RCA single sides, including "How Do You Think I Feel?" and "Love Me." Within the month Elvis ran down "How Do You Think I Feel?" at Sun and officially released both that and "Love Me" on his second RCA LP in October 1956.
Presley also began stealing the show from the headliner Snow, much of the crowd screaming until Elvis delivered his set.
Also interesting is seeing right behind the singer a poster for a hot new album ... by Mantovani.
