With fans Paula Belanger (left) and Wardee Anderson (right) at Whiteman Air Park, Pacoima, CA on November 19, 1973 - Elvis sponsored Wardee in the October 7, 1973 (Sun) San Fernando Valley Diabetes Association of Southern California's Diabetes Bike-A-Thon.

This is what Paula said about the photo - "I was in Elvis's house the night before and found out he was leaving for Memphis the next day. I went to Wardee's, told her, and we followed him to the airfield. He got out and came over to us."

She also said the following - "This is my best recollection date wise. When this was taken he hugged me, called me by name and said how glad it was to see me again. And I remember thinking at the time that it had been months since he met me and yet he remembered my name. I first met him on Oct. 7th so it was weeks or months, somewhere in there. Late Nov.? - thats why I remember the date so well. I met him 2 days before his divorce. And the picture is several weeks later"

Paula has confrimed the date from her diary and this also jives with the book 'Elvis Day By Day' as November 19, 1973.
