This is one set I will be buying. However, I don't need to hear The Prisoner's Song as part of it.

Indeed. Only the most pathetic collectors argue differently.

I find it hard to believe that this will be included uncensored, with its obvious racial overtones, in the current climate. The 'Elvis was a racist' camp need look no further for proof.

It doesn't bother me one way or the other whether it's included on the set, or not. However, given that it would be on a collector's label, how will the "Elvis was a racist" camp know it's been released or get hold of it, unless they are members of Elvis forums?

In addition, this has been on youtube for many years, and it's hardly caused a ripple on there.

I think we're too sensitive, too protective and too defensive. There have been worse stories about Elvis that have come out over the years, and yet here we are still buying Elvis records, books, DVDs, memorabilia....etc.

I don't think any harm would be done if this was released. I'm not campaigning for it to be released, but I'm not against it coming out officially.

It's easy enough to find an explanation on the world wide web. Basically, the cornhole is where the sun never shines.

Finally a reasonable post. Thank you.

So, the "corn hole" is that particular body part we all have (and some people use for talking)... thanks no need for further explanation.

I pre ordered this set because of its completeness and sound quality, previously other 'outakes' had been available. But in poor sound, this set should be a great release

I’ll be honest, I’ve skipped a few of the “Sessions” FTD sets, (still considering on getting them), but I’m definitely getting this one.

I skipped some of them initially, but now I've got them all. Seems like people are still divided whether the American Sound set is part of the sessions series or not. I haven't gotten that one yet. Maybe they'll release it as the next sessions, because we're already in 1968 now?

Preordered from Bear Family yesterday. They always arrive creased and BF blames FTD for their flimsy packaging. But collectors collect!

I'm sure it will be great but not as great as a new soundboard set. So where is the announcement? We need more soundboards! This is totally unacceptable and causes a lot of stress for me.

Just announce the next set already! :(

I for the most part, avoided it myself, but eventually gave in. Those sessions are just too important (and good) to pass up.

Why not pay extra postage from NDT and get a pristine copy 🤔

Never had a situation where products were poorly packaged by Bear Family so an order would potentially arrive in bad condition. To the contrary I feel they were always packaged extremely well.

Because Bear Family receives them this way already, they ship to Argentina, they remove the VAT/TAX for purchases outside of the EU and their customer service is very nice.

Well, add to the usual delays that Bear Family ships them by donkey from Europe to Argentina.

The products are packaged flawlessly. They receive them from FTD with the borders creased because FTD does not invest in sturdy materials for their products.

I cannot believe that I just ordered this set. I didn't need it. There's absolutely nothing wrong with the set that I already have. Well, sure, there's more material on this 5-CD set than there is the 2-CD set. However, do I really need every single outtake? I sat here this morning and had one hell of a fight with myself before I actually clicked on the order button. I mean, it literally came to blows, hair pulling, biting, kicking and a lot of name calling. I'm a little sore, but by God I won because the set is ordered.

You didn't win, dumbass, you lost!

Screw you!
