I apologize if this has already been mentioned in this thread but do we know who the Engineer was for this remix/remastering project?
Thanks
David
Thank you sir. It's good to see it was mixed by the master himself!!

So will the 4 CD's with the book be the same CD's without the book ?

I’m curious, Does the old “Blue Hawaii” FTD still hold up these days?

Sound quality?
Presentation?

Reason I’m asking is because I never purchased it, but a friend of mine downtown @ a local record store has one for sale, but I’m not quite sure I’m gonna throw out $80 for a used copy. Looks great though.

All the essential audio is on there and it sounds terrific. "The Making of Blue Hawaii" doesn't change any of that.

Looks very nice indeed. I don't know if I can justify the cost, though... will have to think about it... until it's sold out so that I don't have to make this difficult choice. :) But "Blue Hawaii" is the perfect Elvis movie and it represents a moment in time, an image of USA that fascinates me so I sure would like to have this thing.

I just received The Pot Luck Sessions this week from Elvis Shop London. I’m enjoying it more than I thought I would. The BH book is something I need to think about. No preorder for me though. Let the rest of you go first. Like Keith says, maybe it will sell out and then I won’t have to decide.😃

That is Pål Granlund head of the Flaming Star Elvis fan club from Norway and the person behind so many great FTD books with David English.

It's really getting hard to stick to my decision to not get it and wait for the CD set .Every time I see another pic of it I just want to go for it.I don't remember it being so difficult to be an Elvis fan.

Well here in the UK I don't expect to see it anytime soon, as we now have to wait at least a couple of weeks longer than before Brexit. No big problem really as I have almost 50 years worth of Elvis to listen to or read until it arrives and some people a lot more than me.

Please stop posting photos of this thing. It's not fair. I will not be able to resist buying it much longer.

And that makes it all even worse that Warner is blocking the release of the "On Tour" book as it was meant to be.
I really do hope that David will find a way to preserve as much of the original work as possible so Warner will get a big middle pointer in the end when the finished product makes its way to us fans.
