We've been waiting for shows from 1977 for a long time. Now we have 6 shows in this box.
I hope FTD will release one of the Madison Square Garden concerts or Aloha with the new Matt Ross mix.
Ftd has aleady tackled both and its available on legacy releases that are cheaper why would they do it again?

In a quick view I noticed for CD 1 & CD 2 the tracks are released for the greatest part on various CD’s.
For CD 3 & CD 4 a great part is unreleased.
When the set is released I’ve to check whats new.

Hmmm….I heard when FTD released Spring Tour 77 CD in 2002 they had to change the title from The Last Tours due to Estate didnt like the original title or something.
I guess they dont mind now.
As for the shows didnt we get some of these in stereo on bootleg while here all are in mono 😌 (Coming On Strong boot comes to mind)

::rocks Yes I will be buying this.
My only comments are that great that (mostly) FTD are filling up each disc with 2 x incomplete shows, but the negative is we have had most of this before. Anyway at least apart from his rough voice on 13th he is 'coming on strong!'
Maybe the next soundboard set will be March/April and I would like the Norman shows from March... anyhow it's better than more 1976 but absolutely NOT March 1974 :smt005

Great news. Does Spinout use the 2004 sound?

Sony/BMG/FTD have never had to do what the Estate asks.

The good thing about these concerts is that at least the smattering of rarities in the set-lists make a change compared to other soundboards of the period.

The bad thing is that they're from February 1977. I remember buying the Moody Blue Fort Baxter bootleg and playing it at home. My dad walked in and commented along the lines of "I'm the one with emphysema, and he sounds more out of breath than I do."

FTD already released Feb 20th on Unchained Melody. The 13th and 16th can be found on the boot Coming On Strong.
The 18th was a boot called Release me in not so good sound.
That one had a horrid mastering glitch IIRC. I would have to get my FTD from the shelf and play it.
Yes, the glitch is on the performance of Where No One Stands alone on the Unchained Melody release. I was happy I had kept my original Fort Baxter release of Moody Blue -- it is a pretty strong release for 1977 shows.

I really like the CH vinyl release. Nice homage to the Spinout and Long Legged Girl 45 single sleeves.

I'm sure people can live with that.Seems a bit of a pity zero from 12th,15th+17th Feb shows....but I guess it is what it is and similar shows from March and April 77' will probably deliver similar gaps.

oh no doubt about that, but the collector in me wants these shows to be as complete as they are recorded lol.

Depends upon where you are buying it from. Where do you typically buy FTDs from?
Usually from Graceland.com.
