While it can be fun in a sense, the slow roll-out of this material is as bad to me as that of the actual copyright owners.
And on cue, we eat it up. Of course, I like any "new material" ( that phenomenon is a finite part of being a fan of a performer gone three-plus decades) but at times it's annoying.
We curse the owners of EOT for sitting on their hands but the bootleg owners are not much better.
To think that some fans come and go (that is are passing on) when some of this stuff sits in a can is beyond me.
That said, bring it on, 'leggers. If it wasn't for the import world, we'd all be sticking to a very narrow list of official titles.

Great to hear, Pep . But as a lesser point, (and perhaps I'm being repetitive )but couldn't they have done better than such a lame title?
The artwork is also very amateurish, all things considered -namely what import folks currently are capable of...! Be it Straight Arrow or MRS or the International label, the bar is much higher now. Someone needed to spurge on a designer...or even ask for some help. I like the use of the EOT "ELVIS" lettering but beyond that, get back to work!!! This ain't done!
PEP wrote: A new DVD titled '' Elvis Live '' will be released on January 5, 2010. The highlights of this DVD are footage filmed at the opening show of Madison Square Garden with sound. '' Elvis Live '' will also featured NEVER BEFORE SEEN footage filmed during Elvis' rehearsals on March 31, 1972. A great way to kick off the 75th Anniversary !!!
I would tend to agree with you, the DVD insert, is lacking a bit
for various reasons.
I would have maybe done something like this....but, of course this was only done in like 5 mins.
Tho, in this case, I am much more interested in the content.

I for one will be patient enough to wait for the complete bootlegged version for a bargain in some years. I've bought TTWII often enough. It's the music that counts, not the moving pictures. After all, it's not pornography.
Bruce Springsteen and Bob Dylan duetting on Unchained Melody - when will it happen?
I would love to see an 'official' 2012 dvd set of EVERYTHING from 'EAlvis on tour' release same way as 'Aloha + 68 box sets!- how could they loose if the put this out? every fan would buy it!?
Bruce Jackson Born June 3rd 1949- Died January 29th 2011 Elvis's Sound Engineer from 1971-1977.

I agree! And they could keep re-releasing it in different forms over and over again like the 68/Aloha specials and continue making cash for years to come.
Seems wierd that it's taking so long to come out when there's other stuff out there (like obscure tv shows)with potential for a lot less sales.

So we will have studio outtakes from EOT on this new DVD, ones that we do not have.
But what kind of material is on this DVD from Richmond?? We have till now a little bit from Richmond.
Can we expect a lot or just a little??
Maybe over 1 year we can expect more EOT footage?? Or is this it??
Could you help us out PEP??
I will order it for sure.
Please keep in mind, I have been told this clip is cropped and made to look off color
on purpose.
What will be on the DVD, will be in perfect quality !
Please enjoy...this may not last long.

New to me as well . "Thanks for posting it" etc. but why oh why was this withheld until now? Money? Please.
Outside of seeing our hero in motion once more, it's frankly (and not unexpectedly for a '72 rehearsal of "Don't Be Cruel") rather underwhelming and I say that like all of you as an Elvis die-hard.
