While not happy that I had to purchase the entire set (again) to get the new mix of the rehearsal show, the sound on this track has eased my frustration (as well as getting the main show on Blu-ray). I hope Ernst addresses this faux paus in Memphis next month or hopefully Tom Brown will do his research and bring up the topic.

And the blu-Ray will include both shows plus the session for the extra songs. It was no surprise that this would be coming out in a box set this year. I passed on the FTD. But rather someone bought the FTD or not I think it’s time for us all to get over it.

Absolutely... but I think this time the beef is legit... it's pretty difficult to justify why these two releases were necessary...

From the audio we have so far from the Deluxe set, are these new mixes, or are they identical to the FTD set? I've only been listening from my laptop and can barely notice any difference, as good as the deluxe set sounds.

Both shows are remixed for the new set... where the FTD has only the main show remixed.

No, this is a new mix for the upcoming Legacy release - mixed by Matt Ross-Spang. The FTD has the mix from the previous 2013 Legacy Edition release (mixed by Steve Rosenthal and Rob Santos).

So just to be clear… the rehearsal is a brand new mix but the main show will have the same mix as the last ftd, correct???
