Currently listening to Disc 1 from The Making of Viva Las Vegas set. Unfortunately, there seems to be an error as the beginning of Track 4 "I Need Somebody To Lean On" is on the end of Track 3 "If You Think I Don't Need You" which is not so much a problem when just listening normally, but it is when you jump to Track 4 as the intro is effectively missing. This problem has already been noticed on the EIB/VLV Set thread.

At this very moment, I am listening to Mario Lanza's Christmas album. He had a truly magical voice.

Right now (and all day) I've been listening to a local radio station out of Philly. They are still playing Christmas songs! :smt114 I am enjoying them and they are featuring different Elvis Christmas songs every couple of hours!

A fantastic album indeed! In my early teens I totally loved 'Working On The Building' and it still is my favorite song on the album.

State of the Union is fantastic.

Had music on all day today as I've been working - started off with Blue Hawaii and How Great Thou Art. Then moved on Richard Strauss tone poems, and now Swan Lake. I think my neighbours must get very confused by my music choices!

Accused of being "a nerd in his 20s." I wish.

I don't think I've heard a finer voice by anyone than Elvis on this album. Just magnificent.

Indeed, a beautiful album. I listen to this one often. Arguably one of the best albums of his career.

But it is a shame it was mastered by Lene Reidel.

To me the best album of 2019: Jamestown Revival - San Isabel. I am sure many Elvis fans will enjoy this record.

Agreed. I guess I should have written a little more about it, rather than just posting the album sleeve. I really enjoyed the songs from the elder statesmen, which I thought might not work, when I first looked over the track listing.

The Bing Crosby song was a pleasant surprise, and I will certainly be picking up a copy of Watertown by Sinatra after hearing The Train on this compilation.

Southbound Jericho Parkway by Roy Orbison has to be a lost classic, so I may dig a little deeper into this period of Roy's career too.

It's also rather cool that the whole thing kicks of with Elvis, and the sleeve notes are informative, for those wishing to seek out further listening.
