Fantastic news! Thank you so much.
I can't wait to experience the masters of the "How Great Thou Art" album with the same exceptional sound quality as the outtakes.

Both look pretty good. About time we got the Houston show through FTD, but this release now pretty much confirms that only one Houston show was recorded right? If not wouldn't have made more sense to release three Texas shows in one set?

According to the tracklisting, the masters of "How Great Thou Art" [plus take 3] and "Run On" are not included as part of the sessions.

Good decision [finally] not to pair any of the '67 material, though.

No, it only underscores that the Houston '74 recording we know is a completely releasable tape.

Will be nice to hear "Arvis Paisley" in context.

So the other show was recorded but only exists in poor quality?

Who needs money? Not me.

100% getting the HGTA set and will see how much of an improvement there is with the Houston audio before deciding on that one.

Well, this is supposedly the evening show (although the track listing is the same as the afternoon show), and the afternoon show has been on bootleg as a soundboard for years. So, at least two exist.

Were the boots not wrongly labeled as the afternoon performance? I guess we'll find out when the FTD comes out.

I think you mean the June 15 ES.
The June 15 AS has been released before.
The March 3 Houston AS is unreleased.

The March 3rd show has been wrongly labeled, a couple years ago there was a discussion about it on this forum, the soundboard which was supposedly the afternoon show, did not match up with the afternoon show footage we have including the colonel riding by on a donkey during Fever, i also pointed out that in the footage we see Elvis do his usual arm swings to Sweet Caroline (which was not sung during this show, but WAS sung during the actual afternoon show)
