Re: Elvis AI Show - London
Thanks. This event looks promising; I imagine billboards will appear at all sorts of locations where masses of people pass through daily. Price tag though may be hefty for many, but I'm guessing the state-of-the-art concept will impress.

I subscribed so that they keep me informed but until now, it’s pretty much just some high end techicians working, I wouldn’t compare this with the abba voyage trailer at the time, so we’ll see!

Like arnaudbxl and maybe some of you, I subscribed to be informed and I've received an email yesterday. Most probably, I will go to London in may 2025 to see this show.
You've never walked in that man's shoes or seen things through his eyes
Or stood and watched with helpless hands while the heart inside you dies
So help your brother along the road no matter where you start
For the God that made you, made them too, these men with broken hearts

You can't beat a bit of brotherly love! That was nice of him to do. Is he going also? If so the drinks definitely need to be on you....

I have been trying to buy a ticket but they don’t appear to be an available yet either direct from Elvis Evolution or from the other ticket place. Where did he purchase tickets from?

Re: Elvis AI Show - London
Try the link below. I ordered tickets pre-sale a couple of nights ago. I know what you mean though as there does not appear to be a link in the actual website. However checked my emails just there, and another email sent today saying tickets on sale. Interestingly there are tickets available as of now for a later evening performance (standard price) that were sold out pre-sale, so I went for an afternoon performance. I'd probably book sooner rather than later given that ticket only officially on sale today.T3ddy-be@r wrote: ↑Fri Oct 25, 2024 11:39 amI have been trying to buy a ticket but they don’t appear to be an available yet either direct from Elvis Evolution or from the other ticket place. Update: just noticed that tickets did not go on sale until 11am today which is probably why you were not able to get earlier.

As a Londoner, I'll be going. But until I see some footage from the show I'll stay sceptical and not book a ticket. I hope it's a success, I'm sure it will be. And after the exhibition here for the last year, which did amazingly well it seems, it'll be good to see Elvis' image back on billboards across the city.

Re: Elvis AI Show - London
I can't see there will be much crowd reaction with a seating capacity of 180. I will wait and see some reviews before purchasing a ticket.

We don't really know what to expect. The “advertising clips” only show monitors with Elvis clips. At the Abba Avatar show, it was explained right from the start what the fan can expect. I am also surprised that the audience is kept rather small. It won't be a concert experience like Abba. The marketing doesn't convince me to order tickets in advance.

This company has already run 2 high quality shows in London>
Check out the reviews for War of the worlds and you will see what kind of format to expect - live actors, VR etc.
It will be a good show, no doubt. Expensive yes, but the nature of it means that audiences must be small.

Groups of180 people at a time sounds about right. I've been to the venue and it seems an ideal place for this immersive experience.ck1 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 26, 2024 5:31 pmThis company has already run 2 high quality shows in London>

Even though, there's little to go on at this stage, and months before the press reviews emerge, I'm confident the experience will be a thrill. I can also see it appeal to visitors of all age. Its a youthful concept that makes the classic events contemporary.
It's been a while since I've been to multi-sensory experiences, but that technology was primitive to what has since developed. So as long as I'm moved in some way (and I was when seeing items at The Arches exhibition at London Bridge) then this different approach looks like it will be time well-spent. I'm going on a weekday - even though I booked presale, I found the £75 tickets were sold out for every weekend slot I looked at.

Re: Elvis AI Show - London
My wife and I are booked in, but being in a wheelchair I am restricted to a £75 ticket, at least my wife gets in for free as my carer. As is frequently the case in my experience the wheelchair allocated spaces will probably be on the outer edges of the seating area. I hope not, but it is often the case.
