The Elvis Workshop guest appearance

#1994750

Post by rickeap »

I've just been in the US for a few weeks and caught up with the very hospitable Rick Crofts and joined him on an episode of The Elvis Workshop.
While I don't like seeing myself on screen, I thought you might be interested.

And here's a link to my Elvis daybill collection. I have some new one-sheet titles arriving soon so will update that video.

That was great, Rick. Terrific photos of the Grand Canyon, although I especially enjoyed your conversation about movie posters. It was good to see a few of them, too.

Good work, Rick. You're a natural!

Nice little story of you meeting Clint Eastwood.

Cool, you're talking one guy up in price, and the guy with the Double Trouble sheet, down from $2000!

Thanks Mike. I definitely prefer to be the other side of the camera, but Rick is a good host and keeps things flowing.
I eventually got Double Trouble for $200A, which is a fair price (I also have the US one sheet, insert, lobby card set and three sheet, plus the Australian daybill).
Greystoke, the Grand Canyon remains my favourite place in the world. A week before I did my walk, a former colleague walked rim-to-rim-to-rim in two days, an amazing achievement. I couldn't do that but will investigate the lottery for staying overnight at Phantom Lodge to at least walk rim-to-rim over two days. This was my fifth visit to the canyon and third big hike and probably the most exciting thanks to the ram, big horn, goat and snake encounters.
