Had a very quick look at some of the images and seems very good from what I've seen. I like the little logos as finishing touches which I think adds to quality. Did you scan all the images from various sources. One in particular I cannot recall seeing before (although I probably have it somewhere) is the image used on front of Disc 10. - Viva Las Vegas/Kssin Cousins. It looks superb quality - can you let me know where it came from? Keep up the good work. I have only done 7 discs so far, but not in any order.

Welcome guys,
@emjel
I would love to tell you, but I have had these images stored on my HDD for ages so it is quite hard to say where they came from. I have sorted a lot more out lately while working long hours, but i'm finding it hard to get done with last 15.
I'll try to get working on them after work on Friday and hopefully Saturday.

Managed to get Vol 10 image but not from site you suggested. I'm still playing around with layout and fonts for these discs and also deciing on the photos to use, so this is gonna take longer than I thought. 1973 onwards is a bit of a problem. Do you scan images from books? If yes, what scanner are you using A4 or A3. Cheers

Gotta love the double/triple posts and so on lol. I made a post the other day and it made like 6 or 7 of them.
I find images, but I also do quite a bit of scanning aswell mate. I use the Epson PX720WD which is an all in one printer. Had to take it into the shop today thou for a service because of the ink head crap message I was getting.
Triple postings - yes you press submit and nothing happens, so you repeat. I just deleted 3 so must have posted 6 times.
Assuming then that all your scan sources are from original images that are smaller than A4. There are a couple of large images in some recent books that I would like to use, but just too big for my Epson.

I got a lot of quality images from books I would love to scan, but the books are way big to fit on my scanner.
Thanks Mac - IMO probably one of the best pics from this photo shoot. Decent studio images from Change of Habit and Live A little seem to be hard to come by. I've been told that nothing official was done for Change of Habit.

Still working on finishing this set, and have like 6 more to complete, but when they are done then i'm gonna do something special with the spines which I hope I can pull of because I haven't done this I had a thought about today.
If it works then i'll show a little display to show what I am working on.
Well I have like 2 more volumes to do, but couldn't resist to try this spine thing, and I think I actually done it. Here is what I had in mind, and below shows the spines for the front of 4 CD's out of the set. I won't be putting any txt on the front spine because the image would be messed up, but the spines on the other side is staying.
Because I am a massive Loving You fan I had to use a image from that movie lol. The image isn't that great because I took with a ipod touch, but you can understand what it is.
And a screen grab from my fav movie.
Edit : Scrap that idea. I decided to go with this image for the main spines lol
They look cool....if somewhat very familiar in their layout.
Hey i don't mind...but would have thought that doing your own layout/ideas would have been better. Having said that...i think you've made some good choices selecting pictures etc. Nicely done.
Nice work.
I guess Im gonna print these someday, which program do you use to print them?
So can be sure that the covers are real sizer and etc.
So, I have been thinking that Im gonna either burn copies of the Masters boxset..
I wanna keep the original discs in the book inside the box, but for casual listening (at home, in car etc) it would be good to burn cdr-copies..
Tell me one thing, should I burn them from the actual boxset discs or from hi-quality rips (FLAC) that I have as backups on computer?
They do look very familiar in design! Although not as good in my view, as the designs you based these on. This is adequate, and several are nice, but some main pictures for the fronts are blurry, while others are too grainy or too red.
For easy printing of cd and dvd covers I first lock my printer into highest quality printing mode, choose glossy photo paper mode and simply use a simple program called easy cover print, but beware the front cover cd print is only meant for non folded front covers (12x12 cm).

Hey Mac, these covers look great. I'm actually on a "Mac" and having trouble downloading but would love to download these to tag my rips in iTunes. The first link showed the page missing, and I downloaded from the second link but the Mac couldn't find a program to open it with. Any suggestions for an Apple user? Thanks!
