Post by Andy-M »

For SALE from my private RCA BMG CD Collection:

Elvis From Memphis To Venice Rare RCA BMG Germany Promo Inhouse GIFT CD
Cat. Nr. 47-6380
Matrix Nr. Sonopress I -2429 / 476380 B IFPI 0714
Year: 1994

RARE !! Everything in near MINT condition. CD never played !

Contents : That’s All Right - Blue Moon Of Kentucky - Good Rockin’ Tonight - I Don’t Care If The Sun Don’t Shine.

Issued in 1994 by BMG Germany and given to the delegates of the BMG International conference, Venice/Italy, June 11th to 15th, 1994.
The liner notes are by Klaus Schmalenbach, director of BMG International.

This CD sample is a limited edition of 70 copies. (Information source: ElvisOnCD Webpage)

A highly collectible item since it was not really a promo release in the usual sense. The cover (front and back) duplicates in full color the RCA Victor reissue of the 45rpm version of “That’s All Right Mama / Blue Moon Of Kentucky” in 1955. The back of the enclosed insert includes a brief account of the recording of this groundbreaking release by Klaus Schmalenbach from BMG International , Munich. The 45rpm labels of “Good Rockin’ Tonight” and “ I Don’t Care If The Sun Don’t Shine” are reproduced in black and white on the center pages. The sleeve also states “For Private Use Only - Not For Sale -Not For Broadcast”. The CD itself duplicates the “That’s All Right” Label in full color.

CD has a large siver center.

Hi I look for From Memphis to Austria promo CD. Let me look at spine of cover.

"I´m limp as a rag, worn out when a show´s over". Elvis in Tacoma, fall 1957.
Long, Lonely Highway, by Ger Rijff (Tutti Frutti productions, 1985)

Dear Drghanem. Thank you for letting me know your CD search / wish.
I will let you know if I find one.
The CD, Cover and backinlay from this SONOPRESS CD is exactly the same.
Only on the spin they changed the word VENICE with the word AUSTRIA.

I am selling here the VENICE CD. Not the Austria CD.
Take a close look to the pictures and scans.

If you have any other question or if you search anything else specific, write me a PM please rather to expand my Sale topic. Ok?

Thanks.
If anybody else has any question do not hesitate to send me a PM !!
