No. I change my mind and so it's just a topic here.

Are you on Steve Hoffman music forum?

This is my favorite Beatles album opener. If you lived through Beatlemania 1995 style, you'll understand why. "I've Just Seen A Face" opening Rubber Soul is also a favorite, "No Reply" on Beatles '65, and "A Hard Days Night" on...yep, the album of that name.

Taxman and Come Together are my favorites.

I never liked No Reply as an opener. I’m a Loser would have been a better choice, IMO.

Similarly, I don't get why Whatever Gets You Through The Night was not chosen as the opening track for Lennon's Walls and Bridges album.

I think No Reply is a fantastic opener. No intro, just "it happened once before" and into the song.

Are we doing solo albums too? I could see opening with Whatever Gets You Through the Night, it's so bright and cheerful, but Going Down on Love represents the album better.
Hard to improve upon Imagine and Mind Games as album openers.

Sure , why not? Let's have some. Up to 1980 when Lennon was alive.
