The Sharon Tate Appreciation Topic

Post by Walter Hale 4 »

Short but fun tribute to Sharon Tate. Although the tragedy of her murder and that of her unborn child and her friends is what is remembered most about her, Sharon was a very humorous and fun person to be around, as well as very gentle and very kind, which made her even more beautiful. So this is a tribute to her career and personality.
Enjoy!

The only time I ever saw Sharon Tate perform was in a movie called “Valley of the Dolls.”

The murders and their macabre details were incredibly disturbing — as they are to this day.

Elvis super-fan Sandi Miller has said that the incident had a BIG impact on Elvis who’s CA home at the time was in the same area.

Next will be Sharon and her husband Polanski as they appeared on Playboy show with Hugh Hefner from July, 1968.
You have to wonder if the terrible murder of his wife and unborn son had taken a psychological toll on him 7-8 years later.
He is a tremendous filmmaker, but with some personal demons.

Interview is from 1966. I think this one shows how ambitious and devoted she was to be an actress. Bless her.

Pictures of Sharon with martial arts king Bruce LEE.

Bruce was her trainer back when the film THE WRECKING CREW was being produced.

I actually just brought up the same question. As much as I adore his movies, something must have gone terribly wrong with him after that (or it has been there all the time).

I am so thankful for the internet and YouTube.

Sharon Tate on "The Tonight Show" w/ Johnny Carson (Audio Only)...

Air Date: August 2nd 1967

This rare interview of Sharon Tate on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson was uncovered by fans in October of 2021. Prior to the audio being released, I contacted the Carson Entertainment Group & asked if they could release a video copy. Sadly there isn't an existing copy (at least in their possession) as most shows prior to 1972 were destroyed by NBC for some reason.

Thanks for posting. Yes, sadly, NBC reused the videotape for almost all of Carson's pre-1972 shows. It was one of the reasons he fought for ownership of the show.
