C.D. attwork and wav. or Flac

Post by mmoie »

Hi , I have most of my c.d.'s ripped onto my ipod using mp3 format.

I have decided to rip all my cd's onto a hard drive using wav for extra quality and playing hard drive into my blu ray player through usb.
When I rip cd onto my hard drive using mp3 the cd artwork comes up on screen.
But when i rip cd using wav or flac the artwork is not on screen.
I have tried two ripping software Exact Copy and dbpower amp and have the same results.
Is there something I am doing wrong or is there other software avaiable for me to do rip wav and have artwork as well.
I am going to rip all my Elvis cd's 3000 approx and want to put details(year of release ,country of origin) and artwork for each cd into its own file and be able to play showing details and artwork while playing.
Hope anyone can help .
Thanks in advance.
Regards Matthew

It's good you're using EAC, but WAV files are way too big.
You should try converting them to FLAC (lossless format), but I don't know if they work on blu-ray players since I don't have one... yet.

To tag your files (note: it can't be done with WAV), use MP3Tag, it works with MP3s, FLAC files, etc.:
