Has any photographic evidence ever come to light of the allegedly cut production number Let's Be Friends from 'Change Of Habit' ? Always loved the sentiment of this admittedly slight but beautifully understated recording all the same.

God. They are beautiful. You can see beyond the veneer of physical beauty to the joy and pain within the same person he was and will be. They go right to the soul.

That's such a good comment, rjm. It's not often people write with such insight and sensitivity. Thank you.

When the first of these COH sets sold on eBay, the four photos sold for sums ranging between $100+ and $600+ - that's each photo!

That is what his voice does to me very often. The visual and aural combination is almost super human. It must have been a pressure to be 'Elvis Presley' indeed. And indeed a good comment.rjm wrote:God. They are beautiful. You can see beyond the veneer of physical beauty to the joy and pain within the same person he was and will be. They go right to the soul.

Re: Superb unseen negatives from Change Of Habit - 4 new ima
batjak, that info is almost cruel! The only consolation is that sometimes someone doing an Elvis book, sells the pictures first on eBay then we find them in the book. I'm clutching at straws, of course.

Seriously, EPE MUST buy them from who-all owns them. Then produce a calendar from them!
They WILL make a tidy profit.
Call it Elvis '69. Instead of Vegas pics, they get beauty, depth, and joy. Elvis in Chuck Taylors!
{Hell, offer an "Elvis Footbal Special" offer of the sweatshirt and "signature" versions of the classic sneakers!}

Thanks for posting. It's a shame they are not in their TRUE format of glorious colour! These 'Negs' were in colour originally and it can be seen by the definition!

I removed the watermark off this one

Re: Superb unseen negatives from Change Of Habit - 4 new ima
In responce to Chris J.....
You are soooo right, it is cruel to know these shots are in colour! The images DO NOT belong to the 'Filmstrip', this is a very (almost) clever effect. I have gazed at thousands of film strips and they don't look like that when 'processed'. It begs the question(s).
1. Where on earth do they come from?
2. Why are they being produced in COSTLY b&w?
3. Where are the rest of them?
Maybe look out for a book titled "Inside Change of Habit" with a 'Glorious' Colour section to the rear with some of these IN Colour, yeah baby yeah........
