From the May 1958 issue of TV and Movie Screen magazine
Elvis Presley: My Love Life
by Bill Tusher
I recognize some of Elvis´ answers from other books and magazines. So maybe this article was the source?

The author tries to make the press conference answers look like they were mostly from a one-on-one interview. But I suspect the nearly-complete transcript published in DIG Magazine, June 1958, is the source of all future references.

The same goes for the Dolores Diamond´s "interview" in the Dig magazine published a month later. Obviously, I guess, they were both at that press conference. Would it be safe to assume they both recorded the press conference? Or did they just make very good notes?drjohncarpenter wrote:The author tries to make the press conference answers look like they were mostly from a one-on-one interview. If either taped it, no recording has surfaced in 54 years.

Thanks The fool.
These old magazine scans should have it's own section.
Haven't computers come a long way!
Look at this add from The fools' scan.
