Excelent article, very good magazine, thank you very much
Can you post a bigger version of photo from page IMG2_0005? I have it, but it's just a small low quality photo, this is much more better.

Great article. For myself, who in my country never saw an original magazine with Elvis in english in his lifetime it's a delight to read all of them. Thanks again for posting such rarities and for your work to scan them.

Re: The Truth About Those Elvis Presley Whispers (1957 article)
Although the photos catch the eye, especially two "new" to me, taken by legendary 20th Century Fox portrait and still photographer Frank Powolny , around September 4-6, 1956, the article addressing the top rumours is interesting.
The one listed as "TRUE" about almost quitting his current tour schedule (October-November 1956) for his mother's health is eerie. In less than two years Gladys Presley would be dead, and for the rest of his life Elvis believed at least in part it was because of the enormous pressure brought on by his unprecedented career success.
Someday, someone has to find the hundred of BxW and color portraits made by Powolny and publish them. It would be a stunning collection, his catalog of star photos is among the most celebrated of the previous century.
Thanks again.
