Wow, the truth about Elvis' prescription issues inches closer and closer to public view. The article is new to me, and the insider who provided the information must have been pretty close, because of the accuracy. I wonder who it might have been? The image is not from 1975. It was taken at Caesar's Palace on 8-06-1970, when Presley attended Nancy Sinatra's opening night show. It surprising they did not choose to use an unflattering shot from the period. Thanks for the share.

I'd say the inner circle was having no luck getting through to him so leaking a little to the press in hopes it would get back to Elvis and possibly shake him up a bit.

I don't know.Maybe ex girlfriends but they probably wouldn't get too deep involved unless there was some money for their story.
