Thanks for the share.

Michael St. Gerard did a terrific job with one of the most difficult roles to play in Hollywood, then or now. The program was well-written, entertaining, and aimed high. So, of course, it never found a substantial audience and didn't even last a season.

It'll probably never be officially issued on DVD. According to the Wikipedia page, ABC-TV filmed 12 episodes, aired 9 of them.

The Wikipedia is missing the April 9th episode called "Sun Sessions." When I used to tape a lot of shows starting in 1986 I'd keep a book with them listed and I'd write the date most times. This show I wrote them all down. There were 10 shows and then it was cancelled. Then later they aired the last 3 episodes.I still have them on VHS and am in the process of transferring them to DVD.

It's there, episode #7, listed as "Grand Ole Opry/Sun Sessions" and an air date of 5-05-1990. Maybe two episodes aired that night?

Yes that's what happened. It was a 2 parter on May 5th.It's 26 years ago and I can't make sense of what I wrote then.I have the series starting on Feb 6 on one paper and Feb 12 on another but I have May 5 down for both those episodes.
On the VHS cover I wrote Feb 6 so I think that's right.May 5 for Opry & Sun Sessions.
