Interesting share.

Some of Elizabeth Kaye's facts are off -- Priscilla Beaulieu did not make the permanent move to Memphis until she was nearly 18, in March 1963 -- but overall it's a very reflective look at the then-35 year-old ex-wife of Elvis. It's interesting that Priscilla's use of "Presley" name in show business pursuits was addressed, but not the fact that she kept the surname long after the October 1973 divorce.

It's also interesting that the Canadian edition of TV Guide placed Priscilla Beaulieu on the cover this week. Was it an intentional snub at the U.S.? The times they were a-changing. Ronald Reagan was elected the U.S. president the week this issue of TV Guide went out. Here's the American cover:

Priscilla would land serious acting gigs as the decade wore on. One wonders what Elvis might have thought about all of this. We'll never know.

Not sure why the Canadian issue did that.I do understand why they didn't put the president .If anything they could have put our Prime Minister.
