Andrea June Stephens must have had an experience that she would never forget. A photo even got published in Life magazine, although her head was turned to the side.

IIRC, The fool posted this page somewhere, but it's nice to see it again. Some things I notice this time include:

- fan, singer and collector Jimmy Velvet in the "good luck kiss" photo
- cousins Carol Junior Smith and Gene Smith in the "after the show" image ... lucky Andrea
- all the contest winners have their complete addresses displayed, which would never happen today, notice zip codes are two-digit
- Fred Netherly of Mays, Indiana entered the "Elvis Presley 'Win A Date' Contest" ... the only male of the 25 winners, he snagged a consolation record


Cool stuff.

One wonders, is Andrea still with us today? If so, she's probably around 77 years old now.
