I notice in Bobby Gregory's column he mentions a tribute single to Elvis' mother by Red River Dave (aka Dave McEnery) that fans are "clamoring for" and is "getting big plays nationwide." Well, that isn't true, and the single release, which may have come out in November 1958, is quite obscure. It got a very brief mention in Billboard's "On The Beat" column by Ren Grevati, and nothing else:

I believe it.I tried to look for something on that tribute to Elvis' Mom disc and I couldn't find anything.Thanks for adding some info.
