Thank you, i want to frame the satin banners I have but none of the pre-fabricated frames I've found will fit, and taking them to a pro-frameshop would be too expensive..
I got this mgm banner last week. Finally I have the three different variations..
You can see in the other pics two kinds of posters used.....

Excellent stuff. Here's a fairly recent promo ad. I always liked the hook line - 'The King and country'!

Apparantly, there was an Elvis week in New york in late 1973. Here are some TV ads for that event.

Local stations used to run movies in late afternoon here in the states-Elvis week was a popular theme.
I even co-hosted a week on our local station in 1977!

One of the greatest EP photo books ever published, IMO. A true, timeless classic.VEGAS74 wrote:Fold out Promo ad for The Life of Elvis Presley..
I used that exact flyer to place my order, too. Some wonderful memories on this thread . . . . .
Thanks, yet again.

Love this one!!! WOW. How do people store their large promo posters? Obviously it's not viable to frame them all due to cost and space restrictions and it's not much fun having them all rolled up in tubes.......

Now THIS is interesting ...TONY wrote:Just got this one out for all to see;
In Ernst's "Day By Day", he claims that this singles One million sales did nothing to calm RCA's nerves about Elvis entering the
Army.
Now this ad, (hype), states that this 45rpm had 1 million advance sales.
Looking at Joe Tunzi's Number Ones book, the single did real well on the charts.
Debuted at #7, peaked at #3 on the Top 100 and on BB Best Sellers the song debuted at #9 and the very next week jumped to
it's peak #2.
