Re: KNBC-4 1973 Broadcast - Aloha From Hawaii
KNBC-TV was the Los Angeles NBC affiliate station. It appears someone was rolling their videotape at 8:30pm on 4-04-1973 (Wed).

Elvis Presley Show To Be Telecast Here
STAR SPECIAL REPORT
Hollywood -- ELVIS PRESLEY'S new special, "Elvis: Aloha From Hawaii," will be colorcast on the NBC Television Network Wednesday, April 4 (8:30-10 p.m.).
Presley is continuously on camera in what is virtually a one-man concert. His 90-min-ute performance was taped in Honolulu and on location at other sites on the island of Oahu, with Marty Pasetta as producer-director.
The 90-minute show includes a one-hour section transmitted globally via communications satellite (but not televised in this country) earlier this month.
In addition, Presley taped a 30-minute segment expressly for the NBC-TV special. This includes songs performed in Honolulu (following the satellite-transmitted concert) and elsewhere on Oahu.
THE 60-MINUTE section of the special was transmitted live via satellite Jan. 14 to Australia, Japan, Korea, New Zealand, Thailand, South Vietnam and the Philippines.
On Jan. 15, it was relayed to the 28 European nations linked by Euro vision. The satellite presentation was made available to an estimated 1.5 billion people in nearly 40 countries.
This event coincides with the newest Presley album, "Elvis: Aloha From Hawaii Via Satellite," to be released shortly by RCA.
The April 4 colorcast is only Presley's second headliner special for television. Has first was presented in 1968, also by NBC-TV.
