Found these candids a while ago. I have no dates. Does anyone have a clue? 1966? 1967?

These are nice candids, and new to me. Elvis always looked GREAT in blue, it matched his eyes. Note the TV set inside the limo, pretty cool. It's apparently a 1967 Lehmann Peterson limousine, and he appears to be outside his home at 10550 Rocca Place Los Angeles.

The photos look very much like how he appeared in MGM's Speedway," so I would date these to circa June 1967.

I'm just passing along the info. Maybe he used his Delorean to go get it. Or it could be '67 and the info isn't right. I see that Elvis Files has the same date of Sept 66 but they have many mistakes in their books too. Nice photos whatever year.

Edit: Update.
Tony says he didn't give me that date, he said 1967. So I have no idea why I said Sept 66? I must have been talking to someone else.
He sent me this screen shot just now as the only info he has.

Elvis looked absolutely great in blue, like the Doc said. Pity he didn't wear clothe like this in the 70's.

I agree with you on this, Elvis should wear clothes like this in the '70...on stage and off stage

Heh. Wearing a seat belt didn't become compulsory in the U.S. until the 1980s. New York set it to law in December 1984, California in January 1986. In the summer of 1967, I'm unsure if any vehicle had seat belts, let alone a long black limousine.

Anybody who watched television in the 1980s-1990s may remember these PSA commercials from the Ad Council. I remember they even had radio spots as well featuring Larry and Vince. The one I remember the most from radio is one which had Larry and Vince singing a spoof of "That's When Your Heartaches Begin" titled "That's When Your Headaches Begin."

These are great candids! About the seat belts: 1967 was the first year Ford came with safety belts, front and rear. In 1967 it was an option and from 68 on it was standard. Most likely a limousine did not carry any.
