I think she's a reporter. I don't know for sure.

The caption I noted down when I downloaded them a while back read: "June 17, 1959 Elvis' attention was focused on the journalist, whose name is still unknown..."

She was a young journalist, trainee for well known Paris Match magazine
It was confirmed by redactor in chief Daniel Camus. Sorry I don't know her name
Elvis' trips to Paris are very well detailed in this excellent photo book published by the french fan club "elvis my happiness"

the book is both in english and french so if you can buy it don't hesitate. Fascinating and loaded with super rare pics

The TV-producer? Died in 2013? Or is she another Jacqueline Deforest?

C'est une pionnière de la télévision française qui vient de s'éteindre... Productrice télé vedette dans les années 60-70, notamment aux côtés de Guy Lux, Jacqueline Duforest est morte, selon les informations du blog Jeanmarcmorandini.com, qui ne donne pas davantage de détails sur la cause du décès. Elle était âgée de 87 ans.



Le parcours de Jacqueline Duforest restera à jamais marqué par sa rencontre avec Guy Lux. En compagnie du défunt animateur, qui deviendra un monument de la télévision, elle produit entre 1965 et 1968 Le Palmarès des chansons, une émission de variétés diffusée chaque semaine sur la première chaîne de l'ORTF, avant de marquer les esprits en 1971 avec sa participation aux Étoiles de la chanson.
Jacqueline Duforest restera aussi comme celle qui a découvert l'imitatrice Sophie Darel, qu'elle avait repérée à cette période dans un cabaret de Megève. Elle lui confiera la présentation de l'émission de variétés Cadet Rousselle, diffusée chaque semaine de 1971 à 1973 sur la deuxième chaîne de l'ORTF, avec Guy Lux, également producteur du programme. Son décès qui laisse orphelin Dominique Duforest, le fils de la productrice, connu pour être la voix de Secret Story sur TF1.

This unknown woman is often referred to as Tifanie Duforest (maybe it's a false name, with the hope to pretend that she was related to the real journalist Jacqueline Duforest) but, when googled, there is no reality for Tifanie Duforest outside the context of Elvis Presley... There is a Tiphaine Duforest in the south of France, but her young age is inconsistent with Elvis in 1959.
