I'm always trying to catch the forum at "off peak hours" to do the indexing because it will slow the board down whilst it's running the bot. And the past few weeks there have been numerous people online all the time! It'll get done, just taking longer than expected.

I have been tinkering with an issue that some may have noticed.
When you have an email address in your post - the software adds something like:

me@fake-email.com

I have tinkered with the core code of the forum and believe to have fixed this quirk, though it is still popping up occasionally.

To make sure this does not occur, when typing an email address into your post - please use the "e-mail" button in the compose screen so it looks like this when drafting your post (just like you would do if you wanted to insert a quote/bold/italic etc):

[e-mail]me@fake-email.com[/e-mail]

I have also gone back through the posts to the best of my ability to delete the:

part in all the older posts.

Some new features added.

1. A Strikethru code
2. Ability to:

Border your text

And the coolest one --
3. An ebay code...
All you do is type the ebay item number.. For example purposes --- 170317262394
Then highlight the item number, and press the "ebay" button above.

You will then get this:
[ebay]170317262394[/ebay]

An up-to-date status of that particular item.. Should be useful in the Trade Section!

I just tried to post using the new 'strike' & 'border' facility, but when I hit 'submit' my PC crashed !

Yep, must of been a coincidence Colin. Nothing funky about any of the new codes, they are just basic html converted over to the 'code' the forum uses.
What do you think of the ebay thingy??? Pretty cool imo.

The forum software has just been upgraded to the latest version. This update was a little more in depth, as it involved changing some core, structural things in the database. So if you notice any errors - please let me know here/via pm/or email.

A bug that popped up its ugly head:
The topic reply emails had become severely malformed since the upgrade.
This has been corrected.

Right now it goes back for 12 months. After a few days I may move it to 24 or 36 if there are no performance issues.
