I nedd information photo 1958 King creole
I need information about these photos of Elvis from the movie King Creole, what song is he singing since I haven't seen it in the movie and it could be that it was cut from the film.

If only they had called it "Lonely Blue Boy."

Yes, often rockers believe the opposite but it was DANNY who came out first. LONELY BLUE BOY came out in 59 by Conway Twitty. And it would be wise for someone before my death to release the deleted scenes from the films, that would be cool, well I would like to. There would be enough to make a DVD.

Actually, no.
The recording of "Danny" was unissued until 1978. "Lonely Blue Boy" in 1959 was the first anyone heard of the Ben Weisman and Fred Wise song, albeit with a verse changed.
My comment was a tongue-in-cheek response to the cutting of "Danny" from the 1958 Paramount film.

For those not familiar with the song by Conway Twitty here it is:
On a personal note I don't like this version of the song (or Twittys voice on it in particular) but taste will always be a subjective thing and I'm sure others will love this.

I ask the same question.
"Ain't it funny how time slips away...."

Twitty did a good job. I also like the arrangement with Cliff Richards, especially the guitar licks:

Re: I nedd information photo 1958 King creole
Elvis did it better, but I do like some of Conway Twitty's rock-era recordings. His best by far is "It's Only Make Believe." What a great song. Somewhere, there's a home demo of Presley doing it. Oh, what a treat that might be for a crazy fan.
Conway's single reached #6 on the Billboard "Hot 100" for February 6, 1960, and #8 on the Cash Box "Top 100" for February 13. I'd argue an Elvis single of "Danny" would've charted higher, especially had it been the title song of his 1958 movie project.
