On this day, the matinee show was at 4:30 PM -- probably the latest time ever for a matinee in the '70s when there was an evening show at 8:30. Both good shows.

Were you at both shows? Did you take photos?

I only attended the matinee.
My mom took 3 pictures of Elvis (yes, only 3).
Plus 1 of Voice.
Why only four pictures? I'll never know.

One of Voice!! Can you show us the three photos? As you are already on June 7, I can celebrate shaking Elvis' hand 47 years 'today.'

Congrats on the handshake. I could kick myself for not getting upChristopher Brown wrote: ↑Tue Jun 07, 2022 3:55 amOne of Voice!! Can you show us the three photos? As you are already on June 7, I can celebrate shaking Elvis' hand 47 years 'today.'
to the stage. We were only 5 rows from center stage. Though, I
was only ten years old at the time.
I don't have the Elvis pictures uploaded to my computer right now.
I did have them on my previous computer. With a little computer
touch-ups, the photos looked much better than their original states.
I don't think they're would compare to most other's photos here.
The pictures were taken with an old Kodak camera.
Sorry I was so late to reply to you. Somehow I missed it.

No problem. All my photos were with a Kodak camera including the one with my posts.

The one in your avatar is better quality than mine.Christopher Brown wrote: ↑Tue Jun 07, 2022 5:08 pmNo problem. All my photos were with a Kodak camera including the one with my posts.
I don't think I mentioned that I took photos of Elvis
the last time we saw him. It too was also on June 2,
just not '75 but 1977.
I used my Kokak Tele-photo 110. We didn't have as
good of seats this time (about midways back) compared
to fifth row center for the first show. I walked up the
aisle to get a closer shot. But they didn't turn out very
good. I have maybe 12 to 16 photos from that night.
Talking about photos. Back to the '75 Mobile show, a
girl I was friends with brought to school some Elvis photos
from the evening show. I talked her out of one of them.
I'd say hers' was taken maybe from the first or second row.
I'd totally forgotten some of this. Thanks for bringing back
the memories.

I don't know who made these photos, but given the moment and the angle they could be also from Ron Wolfe.

this is where I recognize the specialist from the June 1975 tour. I bought your 2 books of Elvis in concert, and they are very interesting to read, with all this technical and precise information on the progress of the concerts.Christopher Brown wrote: ↑Sun Jan 02, 2022 6:55 amOn this day, the matinee show was at 4:30 PM -- probably the latest time ever for a matinee in the '70s when there was an evening show at 8:30.
