Description

Residents turned out to watch Elvis Presley film a fight scene in Uptown Sedona. Elvis is seen standing in the center with his foot on a wall near a sign for the First National Bank. The Coconino County sheriff’s deputy assigned to Sedona, Will Steele, organized security and crowd control for visiting movie stars and crews.

I'd been hoping to see this photo with director Tewksbury in better quality, and there it is. :) Nice find.

Like that shot with the film director, one of the photos in your post I found by chance several years back.

So I made a topic about where it came from (same lady reporter):

Great photos thanks, and a lovely part of the world. There is a sign along the main road of Sedona recognising that Stay Away, Jow was filmed in the area (sorry can't seem to add a photo) .
