Yeah, you've got it right. I was initially swayed by Bobby "Red" West's sunglasses and the singer's coat, both looking kind of like the one we see during the mock arrival in Hawaii by helicopter. But I took a fresh look at the 1973 video, and I can see Red sports a full beard.

In the photos J.R. Jones took of Presley's exit from Tulsa's Mayo Hotel, you can see something draped over his right shoulder, maybe part of a cape. But it's not there in our topic photo, which is also a candid shot. We can also see a lot of spacious blue sky above them.

So . . . could it be this image was made at Tulsa International Airport, near the business terminal? This was where he was seen when he arrived in town around 1:00am on June 20th, according to news reports. Of course he must have left the same way.

By chance I found the Tulsa World concert review too, and it was scathing. But in this case the reviewer seemed to have zero knowledge or interest in the man's career or success, so the whole piece was just meant to amplify animosity.

A photo from the hotel exit was published a couple of days after the show.

Elvis in a Jam
Elvis Presley was immediately surrounded by admirers and police as his black limousines departed from the Fairmont Mayo Hotel, 5th Street and Cheyenne Avenue, causing a momentary traffic jam. Elvis was wearing the same white suit he wore Tuesday night at his sellout performance at the Tulsa Assembly Center. He left Tulsa later Wednesday.

I think there are more pics on that occasion which showed Hanburger James shielding in James Bond mode the crowd away.

Btw: in one pic you see a camera running .
Don't know if it is a professional one with sound or just a private one with Super 8.

Looks kinda big for a Super 8. Maybe a local news outlet had sent someone to film the superstar in town...
