1. Looks like summer 1956. Same shirt wear on july 20 shots at Audubon Drive, Memphis.

Mostly agree with these suggestions, with a few added comments:
- The example image you place to July 20th appears to be one by journalist Lloyd Shearer , who was on assignment for Parade magazine. But it's pretty certain that he was in Memphis on the weekend of July 28-29, 1956. I generally believe his great shots were made on Saturday, July 28th. His profile of the new star would appear in the September 30, 1956 issue.
- On page 106-107 of Ernst's essential book are three nice-quality photos of Elvis in Helena, AR on January 13, 1955. He's wearing the exact same clothes, has the exact same hair style, and has on the same bracelet and wristwatch. My educated guess would place the second photo on this topic to the same date and place.
