Yes, I was fortunate enough to have been at all of the Philly shows in the '70s.

Is John Herman the same man who recorded the New Year's Eve show in Pittsburgh?



Yes, recorded and filmed it. He was a super-fan who also had a personal relationship with Elvis in that period.

Herman's cassette tapes made the legendary double LP which appeared less than a year after the show. I actually played it on 12-31-1977 all the way through, and wondered, "what happened"?
