found this Michele CAREY 1968 movie called "Changes" but unfortunately it's audio muted at the point of 1:11 minute - 1:13.50.

UPDATE

it's available without the muted audio over on OK R U. Turned out that the muted audio on the above was of a song !

Ahh YES !!!

Elvis and The Beauty Queen, a made for TV product, is available. Haven't seen this since 1983 or 1984! Just had a glance at it now. Certainly shows it's age

Don Johnson plays Elvis but even back in the day i found he was too OTT.
I had a good laugh just now on the "Silent Night" sequence where he depicts an Elvis whose the worse for wear, playing the carol on the Piano then bashes it :smt005 I doubt it if that ever happened. Silly pointless scene.

Stephanie Zimbalist by contrast, who was in Remington Steele TV series, played Linda Thompson she was marvelous throughout.

One performance i liked was "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" Vegas scene but don't recall who was the singer Johnson was miming to. Scroll to 33-minute point.

am going to download this thing now and then just make up a separate edit of the best scenes iike
particular TFTEISYF scene.

Wonderful movie. No idea how Day didn't get an Oscar nod for this.

Accused of being "a nerd in his 20s." I wish.

Move Over Darling (1963) available over on dailymotion !

Stars Doris Day, James Garner and Polly Bergen. This was going to be Something's Gotta Give with Marilyn Monroe and Dean Martin but Marilyn died the year before, while this film was being made.
Script was then reworked as a typical Doris Day comedy and she also waxed the title song.

Delightful stuff ,AYE! :smt023

well, i was trying to find online a film i have not seen in almost 40 years called PLEASURE PALACE that starred Omar Sheriff and Hope Lange made in 1978.

But it ain't available online

Here is a promo add -

However I've found an unusual made-for-television Horror-Drama with Hope Lange, I say unusual because you don't think of her making or appearing on a semi-horror movie.

One i have not seen at all so i look forward to down loading and watch it during the weekend some time...

It's a flawed film, with a plot that's nonsensical and wanting for a more satisfying conclusion, but Sinatra is good and so is the location work, not to mention a fine score. I'm hoping Warner Archive releases The Naked Runner on Blu-ray at some point, given that it hasn't been released on DVD and the last home video release was on VHS.

Good one and Thanks, but where's THE PAWNBROKER and THE DETECTIVE (1968) :?

I looked for this and there was NOTHING there.

They did have DOUBLE INDEMNITY - am All-time Film Noir masterpiece- so i have downloaded that one (medium quality at 720p aspect) and will later, compare it to my old copies.

Hey Matey :D

The movie "In Person" is available over on the old russian website, see link.

It's OK too use as i have downloaded stuff there, though not actively for three years (apart from Double Indemnity the other day).

Am now going to look there for The Boston Strangler (1968).

Cheers,

Hey, Look at that!

The Boston Strangler - 1968 film based on a true story that starred Tony Curtis and Henry Fonda is indeed available on the old russian website. The downside to that is that the aspect ratio is 360p - not great.
It looks as though its in widescreen format.

Jeez my friends, i haven't seen this thing in near on 30 years !!!!

My Any Video Converter accepts the link so am downloading now :smt023 :smt023 :smt023

Hey any of you recall seeing THE BOSTON STRANGLER film? What were your thoughts?

THE DETECTIVE (1968) available on OK R U :D

%100 recommended for you!

Not that much different to my previous copy from 2010, so i won't bother downloading.

WOW just WOW !!! :smt007

THE PAWNBROKER (1964) is there. I already have a copy from the time i used to record off subscription TV but it seems that the online version is longer than the one i remember viewing, at near two hours!!!
Maybe this thing has extra footage!

For those of you who haven't seen the movie, it's worth viewing/downloading.

Any of you who have seen this powerhouse Black and White movie ? What were your thoughts?
