For those missing the old style..

Post by fecc-mechanic »

You now have a choice! FECC-CLASSIC, or FECC-MODERN!

To change the style of the forum to your liking, simply go to the "User control panel", select the "Board Preferences" tab, then select either the "FECC-MODERN" or "FECC-CLASSIC" style.

The FECC-Classic style is based somewhat off of the old style, but with security updates made to it. And looks ALOT like the way things were before.

But, FECC-MODERN will take priority when it comes to new features/etc.

This decision has been implemented for those that just can't live with the modern theme. I do listen, and try to make your experience here a good one!

Indeed. You didn't have to do that, Jordan! You're such a doll! Well, it's true. (Your lady, who I saw in your wedding photos, is a real lucky lady! And you a lucky guy, of course.)

Anyway, thanks! That's really going the extra mile!

Forget what I wrote and deleted. I just saw ACTIVE TOPICS! Yippee!

Me too, i'm going back to old style right now, very good ideea to keep the old style for some users who didn't like changes...with this new style this forum looks just like other 100 bad forums on the net.
When i saw this new style i close the page and i forgot about FECC for few days, now i enter just to see if something change.
Thank you for the option with old style.

Hi Jordan
The new look works o.k. But can you remove the mouse-over pop-up? I can't read what's below them, that's very annoying.

In CLASSIC - It's in the tab right next to "options" below the posting text box.
Click that, and it will open the attachment tab.

Hi KC. The one that says "unread posts"? That's hardcoded in.

Hi Jordan
No it was a black one with info on the (lastest?) posting. But it is gone now. The " unread posts" isn't a problem. It is unnecessary as most treats contain uread post for those who don't live here :-)
Keep up the good work!
Regards
Kees

I've gotten used to the new style now.

But, is it just me or have the lines disappeared from posts ?

You know, the lines that separate different posts from each other when several previous posts are 'quoted'.

On my screen, they all look like one post now !
