Will Elvis Presley Take A Foreign Bride? (mag article)
Will Elvis Presley Take A Foreign Bride?
by Chris Collins
Movie Stars Parade, January 1959
The photos of Elvis kissing and shaking a hand are from the Memphis railway station. Are those two other photos from the same time as well?

If a picture is worth a thousand words:
Also, that last page upload mentions "Turn to page 30 for more on Elvis." Is there more?
Thanks for the latest post, The fool!
And are not the train photos from Elvis leaving Fort Hood on Friday, September 19, 1958?Then I got drafted, and shafted, and everything else, man. So overnight it was all gone, it was like it never happened, it was like a dream, you know. I'd, I'd made four movies and so forth, but it was all gone.

Cool, thanks as always for your great work in scanning and posting these old fascinating articles.
Haven´t got time to read it right now but certainly will.
Did you recognize George Klein in the first photo where Elvis is leaning out the window to kiss a lucky girl?
Sincerely
Brian

When I was a child I was a dreamer,
I read comic books and I was the hero of the comic book
And I saw movies and I was the hero in the movie
So every dream I´ve ever dreamed has come true a hundred times.

No mistaking that nose, even after Elvis helped him out. And though he's caught in the fold of the magazine, there's no mistaking "ol' Hog Ears," Alan Fortas. Also there beaming is Louis Harris.bripet56 wrote:Did you recognize George Klein in the first photo where Elvis is leaning out the window to kiss a lucky girl?
Anita Wood is not in that photo, but she saw Presley off as well.
Elvis leaving Fort Hood - Friday, September 19, 1958
Note friends watching girl being kissed: George Klein, Alan Fortas and Louis Harris.
