No Neil today as it's the weekend, so here's a favourite clip of him in a duet with Dionne Warwick.

Back for yet another week. Today we get Bad Blood, which has been conspicuous by its absence in the two Sedaka concerts I've seen. Also, two songs from the late 1970s.

Today's.

The World I Threw Away is really something. Wonderful song - something of Charles Aznavour about it. I'm surprised Liza Minnelli never got to it; it's got her written all over it.

And so few of those songs have made it to CD. It's quite a shame.

Last one of the week - he's still going strong! Today we have Clown Time from the "Love Will Keep Us Together" CD, the early 60s song Wait Till You See My Baby, and ending up with I Let You Walk Away from the "Steppin' Out" album. That chord progression in that last song - he certainly knows how to tug at those heartstrings. Such a master.

Another week. Neil tells us we have heard 115 songs so far - and there's about 500 left to go! You can just imagine the bootlegs coming out of these videos in the future! Sounding a bit rough and ready today, it has to be said.

Yes indeed Neil did sound rather 'rough & ready'... but great he is doing this- even his shirt did not look too good. I sometimes wonder if his Son is moving the video camera? Still nice to see whilst other stars around the world such as Rick Wakeman spend their time on twitter making soups!

I think it's his wife. He often seems to sound worse on a Monday. But I guess at 81, and early in the morning, he isn't going to sound at his best everyday.

Rather oddly, we get a Christmas song today! Nice performance of Sad Eyes and I Waited Too Long, though! Both would have been fine songs for Elvis, it has to be said. You could certainly imagine I Waited Too Long on Elvis is Back, for example. And Sad Eyes would have worked well for latter-day Elvis. Slightly worryingly, Sedaka doesn't look very well in the last couple of videos. His eyes look really heavy today. He had a number of health problems at the end of last year which kept him off the stage for about four months, so hope he's ok.

Today, we learn about Neil's (lack of) culinary skills - who eats in a restaurant three times a day????

He looks much perkier today, telling us at the end that there's an end to this - but he's still going to sing!

We have As Long as I Live from the early 1960s, the gorgeous When a Love Affair is Through from an early 1990s collection called Love Will Keep Us Together, and Since You've Been Gone is from "Neil Sedaka Now" but written long before that 1980s album. It seems that virtually every song on "Neil Sedaka Now" was written at least a dozen years earlier - and we thought the inclusion of the three-year-old Hey Jude was weird on Elvis Now!

In very good voice today. He sounds about ten years younger! The first two songs are from the last two albums. Beautiful You is from Solitaire, IIRC.

Today we get a reprise of Love Will Keep Us Together, alongside Stephen - Sedaka's tribute to Stephen Foster. It's such a beautiful melody. I really fell in love with it when I first heard it on a used copy of Overnight Success that I bought when I was about 18. And it gets a really good performance here, too.

I'm not even sure that the first song in today's video has ever been recorded by Sedaka himself. I can't find it. Huge bonus if that's the OK. The second song is the title of a compilation album of other artists singing Sedaka songs which came out a year or two back.

Neil is back with his trio of songs - you might want some tissues for the end, when he sings a song from Brighton Beach Memories, his album of Yiddish songs. It's ridiculously difficult to get hold of (in the UK, at least), but it's one of the most moving albums I own. It's truly beautiful.

This is Thursday's mini-concert. This features "Star-Crossed Lovers," a hit for Sedaka in the late 1960s. The hits he had there during the 60s were rather interesting, and don't seem to be known elsewhere. I recently got a CD with "Jeannine" on it (a B-side in Australia) - a song about a woman who is rumoured to be a lesbian and a man who thinks he can prove that she isn't!
