Well I mean being my first custom cover, it’s far from great but I just thought maybe someone would appreciate it, it’s for the Uniondale July 19th 1975 evening show
I feel like the text is a bit dark and could do with being clearer and the picture’s not exactly the highest quality but I felt it captured the mood I was aiming for, fell free to leave any feedback!

Great job. I have made a few myself and, like you, I am not a professional. I just enjoy making custom CD covers.
Some people may not appreciate the work you do (as I have found out) but don't let that stop you from continuing making CD covers.
After all, it is just for fun!

thank you so much for the encouragement! I’ll keep making them with the limited resources I’ve got haha
Okay so here’s two better (in my opinion) covers for the Asheville 22nd July 1975 show (due to the limitations on the software I’m using, I can’t save the photos as HD without paying)
I made this second one because I figured the picture on the right on the above one might not be everyone’s cup of tea

Thanks, I’ll keep trying but sometimes you can be pretty limited by the number of photos from a concert (there are hardly any high quality for Dallas, Dec 1976 for example) but of course not every picture is gonna be to everyone’s tastes but it just depends on your point of view really. Thanks for the feedback!
If you go to Google images, just type in the city and date and many photos of Elvis in concert will appear...just use some of the nicer ones..especially if they have a black background...I use Picasa to expand the black background and then crop it into a CD shape...
Good luck.
Here’s a cover I made for Elvis’ concert on 15th Feb 1977, it’s probably one of my favourite 1977 concerts (hurt is great and there’s a rare, reprised my way). It’s not a particularly well known concert but I wanted to make a cover for it and thought someone else might appreciate it too haha.
Used some pretty rare photos I’d found on this forum.
Just a quick cover I made for Elvis’ 6th June 1975 concert in Dallas TX. This has always been quite a well known concert but I didn’t really like any of the previous covers (the official one is also attached) mainly because if I make a cover I always like to include actual pictures from the concert (or at least the year in which it took place)
It’s been a little while but I thought I’d have a go at making a cover for the up and coming Straight Arrow release, ‘With Renewed Vigour’. I thought the title rather ironic since that was exactly what their cover was lacking, a bit of vigour, especially in the photo they used for the cover shot, so this was what I came up with, might not be everyone’s cup of tea but I’ll leave that for you lot
(Might have gone a bit overboard on the blue, but you only live once I suppose)
Well hello there, my it's been a long, long time
I've realised that when I have 2 shows released as part of a 2 cd set I like to have separate (but related) cover art for them. So these are the covers I've made do with them what you will, I had a bit of a backlogue and may include some others in future

Not to sure about the colour balance on this one, I think it would be better if the photo was a bit darker, it's quite difficult to read the '1975' but apart from that I'm happy
(maybe I should swap round the colours on 'las vegas' and '1975', that would fit with my theme on the Nevada Nights disc)

That's really nice! I do agree with you that maybe the photo could use some contrast (or maybe the Las Vegas lettering could be white and 1975 be red? Either way, I'd still adjust the photo a little). Good job though! By any chance can you PM me that photo you used? I'd love to frame it.

Okay, I did end up switching the colours of the Las Vegas and 1975 which I think turned out pretty well (although I had to colour it in with the brush tool because I deleted the photoshop file )

Okay, I can't believe I never posted the 'my boy' of covers (my life, my pride, my joy) on here
unfortunately I don't have a full HD or colour version of the picture I used (which I think might actually be from Asheville) if someone would be kind enough to supply that would be fantastic! But I'm very happy with how it turned out, I made it months ago, goodness only knows why I never posted it

I also made a better cover for the Charleston CDR which is a pretty good show with alright sound (on a CDR bear in mind) and I'd love to see it get the 'Straight Arrow' treatment some day

Back again! Taking inspiration from some of Count Canada’s new covers I came up with a custom compilation album, not really the sort of album you’d want to listen to all that often (looking at the track listing) but I went with a theme and I stuck to it. It’s not my best but I’ve had it floating about for a while
