I was unimpressed by the cheap looking cover that FTD put together for the upcoming set, the lack of a proper title also was disappointing.

The cover photo has always been a favourite of mine and I've always wanted to use it for custom artwork, thank you stibman for a HQ version. The new title was chosen because of how Elvis was feeling on the Hilton and Vegas.

Hope you all like my efforts.

Really nice that, much better than the FTD one, their concert releases' cover art has been a bit lacking recently :(

Every opinion is my own, unless stated otherwise.

I overuse brackets as well

Thank you Gamma for the comments. I've never quite understood why Ernst doesn't reach out to fans to create the artwork for soundboard releases, there are some very talented people on here, their work deserves to be shown through FTD.

I've had the same thought, presumably to reduce costs, which is understandable, but attractive cover art really gives FTD releases a much more professional finish, which you would expect from the official label.

Excellent cover. My only minor preference would be to have the show date on the cover spine for easy access. Thanks

Great work. Way better than the original one. I totally agree that FTD's covers are sometimes not really top notch.... Well....

TCB,
Thomas
P.S.: Maybe skip the "Victor" logo since in '73 they only used RCA - as far as I remember

At the very least, that damned monkey is off of his back.

It chaps my ass.
