Definitely the rehearsal concert has been remixed again or not?
It is quite an important question.
That no one seems to have a straight answer for... I even tried to touch base with MRS but no response yet.

Price on the Imusic store has increased slightly. Hopefully they will honor the previous preorder price of $13.99 ?

https://imusic.co/music/0196588019524/elvis-presley-2023-aloha-from-hawaii-via-satellite-cd-blu-ray
The price of $13.99 may have been a mistake (or a price for the digital download of the box-set?) as it seems way too low. It is now $35.66 / £28.49 (which is very similar to Amazon UK's price). Will they honor the price you mention? Time will tell.

I think it’s an advantage to have the Blu-ray come along with the set since the original DVD’s have been long out of print.

Just my two centavos.

All the FTD dealers now have Aloha sets that they'll never sell.
FTD Aloha was recently reprinted, probably even FTD has it in stock !!!
Ironically, I’m still waiting for my Madison Square Garden FTD set. All I keep getting is “in progress”.

Meanwhile, back at the hall of Justice, everyone else has there’s already.

There is nothing there that confirms 100% that reprints have been done for those 6 titles. They could simply be stock leftovers at FTD. And if they re-pressed those 6, why not do other releases that had sold out.

Select (previously sold out) sessions-releases were in fact reprinted, including The Something For Everybody Sessions, The Viva Las Vegas Sessions, Aloha From Hawaii Via Satellite and Elvis Is Back (with the glitch-corrected disc 2 included). Ask your dealers.

FTD could simply have told dealers they have done re-pressings when in fact, they simply wanted dealers to buy and clear some old stock they needed to shift.

I'm pretty sure that NDT sold out and had to get more stock in. Not to say it was a reprint but they had to get more stock.

I haven't translated everything on this forum and I just have two questions about the double lp :
Will the double LP which will be released in August 2023 contain the entire concert of January 14, 1973 or will it be a mix of the 3 CDs as for "Elvis On Tour" because we don't have the tracklist of the double LP.
My second question is this :
Is the concert on the double album remixed by Matt Ross Spang or it's the reissue of the original album or the 2013 reissue? I didn't buy the FTD and i'am planning to buy the double LP.
Thank you for your answers please.

Curious?

I pre-ordered the Aloha set. It came with a digital download.
I listened to a few select tracks from the rehearsal show and
I don't know the correct terminology here, but several of the
songs were corrupt.

Anyone else have this problem with the digital download?

Did you order from Amazon?

I noticed on Amazon (I have Prime) that if I click on the "streaming" tab it takes me to the page where I can listen to all the tracks. BUT I don't think it's the new mix by Matt Ross Spang. It sounds like the OLD mix. I think they've linked the old mix (Legacy Edition) to this new release.

Usually with Amazon, you can go to the streaming link and see all the tracks but you can't play any of them until release day, except for the one or two they release ahead of time.

RKS

Yes, that's where I purchased it.

I think you are right about it being an older mix.
As I doubt they'd offer the new mix this soon.

But, there still is a problem with the songs I
listened to. Hope it's not that way when the
new mix is released. I'll have to contact
customer service.

Thanks for your response.

Great release, I just hope the use the new MSR remixes for the sound on the Blu-ray instead of the old audio we had on DVD which sounds quite dated in comparison. Haven't seen any release details about the Blu-ray so probably need to wait until it comes out or when it gets introduced during Elvis Week.

History tells us if they haven't reported any details about the blu ray, it's more than likely a reissue of the DVD release...

Well, because the download priced at £23 is high resolution 24 bit 96 kHz format rather than the CD standard.
