I hope the rehearsal is Remixed better than the main show on the FTD.

It was an "event" and one of the biggest in Elvis` career and was certainly watched by many people all over the world...anything else who f****n cares. Lately some people here seem to wanna pick apart anything Presley...sad.

Your response suggests that you do. Sure it was a big event and probably the biggest in his career, but just not as big as some ‘need’ to believe it was.sweetangeline wrote: ↑Mon Jun 26, 2023 1:48 amIt was an "event" and one of the biggest in Elvis` career and was certainly watched by many people all over the world...anything else who f****n cares. How different is it from the remix of Sony Legacy 2013 ?Keith wrote: ↑Sun Jun 25, 2023 2:39 amThe rehearsal show is remixed on this new release, and that is a fact. Nice to see you’re reading my comments As for nitpicking ……nah, I think you’ve made that up. As for taking a break…..nah…can’t do that either as I’m a fully paid up member. And why would I want to start a new thread about all the fabrications in the Elvis world? I mean you’d only moan and complain about it.sweetangeline wrote: ↑Mon Jun 26, 2023 2:02 am...all I know is this past weekend you like to nitpick literally over anything take a break from the board you need it. Ok, but isn’t he doing that when he writes it on his site? I’m curious why it’s different for you when he personally writes it on his site vs him personally writing it here?elvis-fan wrote:Nope...didn't miss it... just wanted confirmation from the man himself. Re: Aloha From Hawaii (Deluxe Edition) coming to streaming services August 11th
That would be the only thing, at this point, that would get me to consider buying this release. Having said that, for the sake of consistency, it will likely sound similar to the main show. The latest mix of the main show is fine but doesn't blow my socks off (I hate when that happens). I'm not particularly interested in the blu ray, so this is almost certainly going to be a hard pass by me...on principle.
Re: Aloha From Hawaii (Deluxe Edition) coming to streaming services August 11th
I bought Aloha FTD and was really impressed with the sound on cd1 (main show). The sound on rehearsal show is fine (2013) and i will not buy the new Legacy set. I am not into video (Blue Ray) as well.Mike in New Jersey wrote: ↑Mon Jun 26, 2023 8:17 amThat would be the only thing, at this point, that would get me to consider buying this release. I hope that people will enjoy the Legacy set, it is good to see that Aloha is getting a final edition.

Re: Aloha From Hawaii (Deluxe Edition) coming to streaming services August 11th
Until the next one comes out, lol. When Ernst makes his yearly Elvis Week appearance, I hope someone asks him about this. If FTD genuinely did not know that Sony was going to do something on the main label for the anniversary, why did FTD not wait until this year to release their own version? and I'm also supposed to believe that MRS did not remix both shows at the same time? Did FTD "forget" to put the new rehearsal show remix on the FTD? Nah, I'm not buying it. I believe this was coordinated, and Elvis fans are again being played for suckers.KB wrote: ↑Mon Jun 26, 2023 9:47 amI bought Aloha FTD and was really impressed with the sound on cd1 (main show). No, the majority of fans live in a world of reality - they don’t have a need to elevate things just to make them appear to be better than what they were in order to try and impress non fans. You only have to read the marketing rubbish that Parker put out about the audience levels even prior to the event.robbie wrote: ↑Mon Jun 26, 2023 10:31 amSomme need to believe lessemjel wrote: ↑Mon Jun 26, 2023 1:59 amYour response suggests that you do. Does that mean going forward, members can only discuss Qobuz and the streaming/download availability of this release? Or should the "to streaming services" in the thread be deleted so that members can discuss every variant of this album that has been released since 1973 for comparison purposes.sweetangeline wrote: ↑Mon Jun 26, 2023 12:04 pmAs per original post below from page one time to stay on topic...thanks.

And just to help you out as you appear to be in thread policing mode, maybe you should have a quick look at this one https://www.elvis-collectors.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=115454#p1944147 regarding the non issue of an Elvis on Tour album which appears to have moved to in depth comparisons of the two Aloha shows. Perhaps a few words there to help it get back on track
