Interesting.
Look at his listed weight in Oct 1970; 160 lbs.
he’d gain about 100 lbs in 7 years.

You don't see his signature with the "A" initial in it very often...

He wasn't overweight in October 1970, but he wasn't 160 pounds, either. The information was copied from an official document like a driver's license.

Also, he didn't "gain about 100 lbs in 7 years."

The form does request "SIGNATURE FULL NAME" for the signature line.

You sometimes see the middle initial on some of his credit cards.

I don’t remember off the top of my head for sure but I think, at his death, he weighed around 260. If he was somewhere between 190- 200 lbs in Oct 1970 he gained 60-70 lbs in 6.5 years.
That’s a lot.

How much did he weigh in June-Aug 1977? In Oct 1970? Total gain was?

And wasn't his official height listed as 6 feet tall when he joined the military in 1958?

Wow... he grew an inch from 1958 to 1970! :D

To me, it's more intersting how Elvis viewed himself back then - regarding taking medicaments:

What's your take on that?

Did anyone notice that his last name is spelled incorrectly on the firearms transaction record sheet?

Don't think it's misspelled. In that doc he filled out most of it, and looks like he did it in a hurry (boring red tape). The second 'e' is mushed into the 'y' and I'm sure having to print this stuff out was irritating. He was a man in a hurry to get his 9mm Walther "James Bond" type handgun.

It’s not off topic.
I noted his weight on the documents posted and made an observations based on what I remember the coroner’s paperwork saying.

And really, your not being blunt, you’re being rude. Which I’ve not been.

If he filled that out himself, that's the neatest handwriting of his I've ever seen.

That's his printing, not handwriting, silly.

Elvis' cursive work was decent, though. Just check those army letters to Anita Wood and Alan Fortas.

He was in less of a hurry, I think.
