Re: Michael Parkinson
What is worse, to interact in a forum with nice people, even sometimes speaking out of turn,, or away from the topic, or to use it to sell books and insult those the book seller cant stand? And I insist, this discussion is not very ageeable to me as the book seller looks exactly like one of my most loved nephews. Wait until I tell him the kind of clone he has...

Re: Michael Parkinson
This thread should NOT have existed in this "All Elvis" section of our forum. Michael Parkinson and Elvis are as related as my grandfather and James Parkinson were, INSPITE of my grandfather having died at a very young age of the so called Parkinson's disease. My dad never actually met him.

Re: Michael Parkinson
I’ve got loads of posters in my den - small, medium, large and very large. But Jaime1234 has no idea what they are so that’s why he cannot mention their names. And he’s too busy liaising with the carpenters.Thats_all_right wrote: ↑Fri Aug 25, 2023 12:57 amWhy not mention the poster's name? This again makes everything incredibly difficult to follow and TOTALLY alienates many other 'posters'. Plus, since this was clearly a reply to what I wrote, I never said you didn't post on topic, just that there always seems to be the next chapter of your life at really random places within the thread. I feel my comment was civil.

Re: Michael Parkinson
A poster talks about having "posters" in his den. Can the poster match this "poster", fabricated in 1518 by a man who made "posters" for a living? My mother, in the photo, indeed slept with it, hung as it was under a fireplace at a bedroom inside a Grade I manor in Britain. Its owner, under stress at the time,LOL, took the photo,in the summer of 1973..

ENOUGH. This has sod all to do with either the topic or the section of the board. Is it really your intention to make this place unbearable?Jaime1234 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 25, 2023 2:44 amA poster talks about having "posters" in his den. Re: Michael Parkinson
Poster who has had enough should tell all of that to the other poster, the one who spoke about posters in his den and joiners about whom no one knows anything about. Again, the poster should address himself to that other poster and I am sure the other poster will comply.

Re: Michael Parkinson
My comment was a bit of light hearted banter around the use of the word ‘posters’ hence the various smilies used. And the difference is that my posters are Elvis posters and they mean more to me than someone who made them for a living centuries ago, so I don’t have a need to match anything. And Elvis fans in an All Elvis forum don’t give a damn about a picture of your mother standing in front of a centuries old poster either nor anything else that surrounds your life. Take your ego ramblings to the Off Topic Forum if you feel the desperate need to tell members on here about your family and your life.Jaime1234 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 25, 2023 6:45 amPoster who has had enough should tell all of that to the other poster, the one who spoke about posters in his den and joiners about whom no one knows anything about. It seems to me that a certain poster has the backbone of a jellyfish in not being willing to name certain posters that he is talking about.emjel wrote: ↑Fri Aug 25, 2023 10:02 amMy comment was a bit of light hearted banter around the use of the word ‘posters’ hence the various smilies used. That certain poster who you are referring to wouldn’t by any chance be Jaime1234 would it?pmp wrote: ↑Fri Aug 25, 2023 5:25 pmIt seems to me that a certain poster has the backbone of a jellyfish in not being willing to name certain posters that he is talking about.emjel wrote: ↑Fri Aug 25, 2023 10:02 amMy comment was a bit of light hearted banter around the use of the word ‘posters’ hence the various smilies used. Re: Michael Parkinson
I can't say. The certain poster in question is well known to all posters on a certain forum, because the posts of that certain poster are driving other certain posters completely around a certain bend.emjel wrote: ↑Fri Aug 25, 2023 5:41 pmThat certain poster who you are referring to wouldn’t by any chance be Jaime1234 would it?pmp wrote: ↑Fri Aug 25, 2023 5:25 pmIt seems to me that a certain poster has the backbone of a jellyfish in not being willing to name certain posters that he is talking about.emjel wrote: ↑Fri Aug 25, 2023 10:02 amMy comment was a bit of light hearted banter around the use of the word ‘posters’ hence the various smilies used. Re: Michael Parkinson
With all those clues, I definitely know which poster you are now talking about. It’s the one who is using the services of a good carpenter.pmp wrote: ↑Fri Aug 25, 2023 6:30 pmI can't say. Re: Michael Parkinson
The poster in question does not refer to many other posters DIRECTLY because in his mind, they dont REALLY exist, They are not in any list of friend or foe, because to even qualify for either denomination, they would have to have been able to face the poster, in any shape or form, in person. and tell him to his face every attribute or insult imaginable. One does not refer to, or quote, persons whose existence is not recognized. When posters are being acknowledged by others, they quote them , as the poster in question has done many times with persons that poster recognizes, namely for their kindness to others. But envy, jealousy and nothingness does not a recognition merit. It is as simple as that.

Re: Michael Parkinson
You go down in my estimation each time you post. Just respect that the game is up. Start behaving like a regular poster on this forum, or leave and allow us some peace.

Re: Michael Parkinson
Elvis would be embarrassed by a certain "poster" on here. I found it slightly amusing at one time, but now it's just getting out of hand. The moderators really need to do something, because he's derailing every single topic he takes part of.... Watch this "poster" come back with a snarky attitude about what this "poster" wrote...Oy vey

Re: Michael Parkinson
Well the YouTube video is a lot better than a random photo of your mother standing in front of some poster made centuries ago. It demonstrates how many of us feel about your egotistical postings.

So true... and let's not forget his little subtle derogatory remark concerning Jack Nicholson and Milton Berle... Meaning, he thinks I posted it because I am so enamored with their...er...anatomy. How childish.
