Strange tracklist but it would be nice to hopefully get the definitive mix of the Memphis 74 show.

WOW!

They did it. No demos, no informal recordings, no soundboard recordings. It's the real deal.

Cover is stunning.... I hope all is newly remixed by Matt Ross-Spang.... That would be great for disc's 2, 3 and 4!!

Looks like 'Polk Salad Annie' from Memphis '74 is the first teaser ready for download but can't seem to buy it as of yet...

Interested to hear the remixed masters and concert.
I wonder how much he managed to improve on the 50s tracks

I just hope they are the overdubbed masters, but properly remixed.

Surely the case, the main purpose (and reason to buy) behind this release.

$130 seems a bit high for a 5 disc download set. I hate to think how much a physical copy is if that download price is correct.

Some high-res downloads can be pricey. The 16/44.1 physical disc set will be a lot cheaper.

If confirmed I AM IN!!!

After this set all I need is blurays of the quad mixes and I would be done with buying Elvis physical media :D

These tracks seem to be missing from the American Sound Sessions:

This Is The Story
A Little Bit of Green
My Little Friend
Inherit The Wind
I'll Be There
And The Grass Won't Pay No Mind
If I'm A Fool For Loving You
Who Am I?

From Stax these tracks seem to be missing:

Girl of Mine
Mr. Songman
Thinking About You
Love Song of the Year

So are you saying that a set of hi res download files will be more expensive ve than a physiacl set which needs to be manufactured (designed, pressed and printed) and then distributed.

Pretty much always has been because the sound quality is much higher.

Elvis at stax for example is 61 usd on there for Hi-Res files

A little mixed feelings but hopefully this will be great :)
Shame that we dont get any take info on any of the studio cuts.....or maybe only masters will be included.
At least some are complete/longer than the standard overdubbed master unless dialogue is included.
But I must admit I really miss some songs like Thinking About You and A Little Bit Of Green ....would easily kick out It Keeps Right On A-Hurtin' and Three Corn Patches if I was in charge LOL

Seems weird to re-release the Sun material.

I'll be curious what the vinyl element of this might be when RCA gets around to announcing it.

It's 800 miles from my house to Graceland, but I'm always up for making the trip!
